ajk - "Uratowac resztke mnie cz. 2 (akt 2: Czlowiek w swej wielkosci, Dezintegracja)"

Decent lyrics wrapped in bad music and delivered with weak voice (4/10)

ajk is a singer from Poland.

Wszystkie utwory i teksty: ajk
Projekt okładki i produkcja: tasaLin

Like I already wrote in the other review, this artist is not a bad lyricist. So it's a pity his lyrics are illustrated with such uninteresting or even ugly (a terrible track no. 1) music. He is also a rather lousy vocalist, singing - or in fact reciting - without passion and sometimes almost out-of-tune. To sum it up: waste of time. Maybe he should think about publishing poems instead?

Ogg Vorbis - "No. 2"

Not bad but too chaotic (7/10)

Quite good actually. Better than the first album. But too chaotic. Let's take, for example, no. 3 Space Aviator - what have we here? Jazz improvisations, strange electronic sounds, samples of an aeroplane, rap, funk, flamenco guitar, vocalise, atonal piano solo, slogan-chanting and many more - and all of this in under 6 minutes. It's almost like listening to a recycle bin of an audio editing program. I felt pity for all those samples that couldn't make it... Poor bastards. Maybe if they were shorter, you could fit another 50 or so? Please excuse my sarcasm - I like genre-mixing, but it's not enough to throw 100 samples into editor and press "save" button... Maybe you've done hard conceptual work here, but if so - you've missed it. The result is chaos. But quite nice chaos. :-)

Behedos - "Arghh!"

Listen on mute (0/10)

Absolutely terrible rock demo. It's not worth even the time required to write a review, so I will try to be brief.

I suppose the band tried to take a parodical approach to several genres of rock music. But they failed, because of their absolute lack of skill. They are so totally inept, it hurts. They cannot sing, they cannot play, they cannot write music or lyrics, they cannot record.

Change the hobby guys. Or at least don't record your sessions. Or - if you really have to record them - don't publish the results. Have mercy for humanity.

Ralp - "Vruoxoil"

8-bit - only partially successful (6/10)

Crazy and mad music which will make you feel giddy and totally wired. Sounds emanating from everywhere take you unawares and stick you a new dose of absolutely positive energy.

Raül Peix (Ralp). Multifaceted artist member of Device, Lowtoy, Distortled Box, Tricoma, NFFCTS, MicroBCN and NGFX, independent collectives dedicated to audiovisual creations. Under the same name, Ralp takes different paths in music, 3D, motion, graphic and installation. He creates 100% electronic music with an IDMcore aesthetic made with computer, some hardware, circuit bending toys, machines built from zero and 8 Bit productions with Nintendo Game Boy and Commodore 64. During his trajectory he has played in some events and festivals around Europe and in a lots of improvised "mini raves" in the streets. So far he has published sonorous material in some netlabels like Brainstormlab (London), Crazy-Language (Berlin), DexandtheCity (Letonia), 49 Manekinow (Polonia), Noise-Joy (USA), Spoomusic (USA) and Chippanze (Brasil).

This is typical 8-bit techno. Unfortunately only partially successful. Some tracks are interesting, well crafted, but others are dull and chaotic, sounding like if samples were placed in purely accidental order. Good ones: 01, 03, 04, 06, 09.

Paradeigma - "Galoperidol"

Terrible hip hop mixed with electronica (0/10)

Well known promoter of experimental scene in Urals, founder of Cuntroll unit decides to show his non-breakcore countenance. Galoperidol was originally recorded in 2007 but never released. Probably humanity wasn't ready for those kind of stuff. Now in 2010 when everyone is ready for everything, everyone saw everything and everyone knows everything we can give to you this extremely sad dose of glitchy-abstract sounds highly connected with depressive hip hop on highest level. The world will end tomorrow!

Terribly ugly hip-hop mixed with chaotic electronica. Avoid at all costs.

Special Guest Star - "Soap Exchange"

Experiment failed - you're fired (0/10)

there is one entity that has ideas. and another that helps to execute them.

Accidental sounds put together without any sense or reason. This is not experimental music. As another reviewer well stated - this is not music at all.

Roter, Filip - "Filip Roter"

I didn't like it (4/10)
Filip Roter, born in Katowice in 1985. Multimedia artist combining different fields of artistic activities: music, poetry and visual arts into a complementary whole. His work is strongly influenced by the poetic and musical minimalism aiming to maximal limiting of the expression and maintaining the clarity of form. These inspirations resulted in generating an individual style: Expresstronic.

Experimental noise. I guess too experimental for my taste. The pieces are very chaotic and devoid of any clear structure. Only for hardcore fans of the genre.

Nie, dziekuje - "Spacery"

Not so good... (4/10)
What does drummer do when he is fed up with hammering on hides? He became an enginer of space travelling... in a walking tempo. How much does the devoid drums ambient-experimental heaven of Michal Witkowski offer? You will find it out right now. If people are stars, then the space is crowded is in places. There are also nebulas of calm and pianos of emptiness. The first walk from the second is separated by four deep breaths. Because in autumn the rhythm is unnecessary to stroll.

It's some experimental ambient. Unfortunately, the experiment has failed. Only two tracks (04 & 06) are listenable, while others are boring, chaotic, without any thought behind them. Not to say about ripping or compression errors present in some places. :-/

k.ROCKSHIRE - "Foamy Leather [doggyBag music for hardcore fans]"

For hardcore fans indeed (4/10)
Album of middle-aged, closing The Doggystyle and announcing the Dark Side of the Bone at a time, Foamy Leather is an album of b-sides, remixes and live performances to fans addressing the most hardened and incorrigible of k. Rockshire.
If you are not willing to sell your mother to break your arm or the tecktonik for k. Rockshire, go your way. Others may enjoy 38 minutes of happiness.
K.Rockshire fans may be surprised by the decidedly ponk and experimental album.

Ingredients: acoustic and electric ukulele, harmonica, double griddle music (regular pocket maniaxRule & LM), organ of potatoes, broken vinyl, synthesizers & sequencers virtual samples, electric bass, trumpet hunting casio toy synth, electro-magnetic sensor , vocoder, kazoo, barking, Jew electric accordion, guitar and electric PopSet ™: Banana music, guitar and microphones popMusic Smurf Music.

This is truly a material for hardcore fans only. Apart from tracks 01 & 03, this album contains poorly recorded fragments of jam sessions. You can listen to this out of curiousity, but that's all.

Tracks 01 & 03 are better recorded and they are variations on themes that can be heard on "the doggystyle EP". Only for hardcore fans as well.

De L Afront - "3day Album"

Beware!
Just a weak demo or a mistake (1/10)
dark, melancholy and experimental sounds from france. beautiful!
It is merely a collection of sounds coincidentally put together. There are no traces of any thought or a concept behind this "work". If it's a work in progress, it's definitely not finished. Oh, and I know it supposed to be experimental electronica. But it's not. I like this genre, so I'm not a pop music fan who lost his way. It is minimal and ambient, but totally chaotic and senseless, not experimental. And finally - it is encoded in 96 kbit (!). So this download is really a total waste of time.
