Residus Plasmiques, les - "C'est Noel tant pis pour toi"

Ordinary rock - nothing special (4/10)

As far as music is concerned, it's ordinary rock, not very creative. Nothing special to catch your interest.

The album has been released on Jamendo and is available for downloading in mp3 or ogg format.

Chujawiacy - "Demo EP"

Nice hard rock tunes with bad lyrics (5/10)

This could be a good hard rock EP with industrial feel to it. The melodies are quite catchy, with disturbing depressive atmosphere; production is decent. The main downside of this record are lyrics. They are very strange and surreal, which is not bad by itself. However, associations used in these lyrics just don't work - at least for me. They are very original though.

This is still an interesting effort and you can check this out if you like strange "alternative" music. The best track is no. 05 "Garnizon".

SaReGaMa - "Honky Fonky" [EP]

Great nu jazz (9/10)

This EP includes 3 tracks from the albums Bodhi Tree and 4D Reality published earlier on Jamendo and a collaboration with wonderful saxophonist Hamelin BĂ©rengnier - HONKY FONKY.
This track was included in Triplexity's album Between Light and Shadow.

The audio quality of music offered on Jamendo in best case reaches 190 kbps, which is quite reasonable for evaluational purposes but definitely not enough to experience the richness of original sound (1411 kbps). If you'd like to feel how this music sounds for real you can obtain a lossless FLAC versionof this album on my website.

Great nu jazz. Even track no. 4 "Hip Hop 4 Alex" did not disturb me, because it fits the style and mood of the rest of the album.

You can also obtain a lossless FLAC version of this album from the artist's website for a small donation.

Plastic Evolution - "At A Wooden Desk"

Not catchy enough (6/10)

electric-acoustic-singer-songwriter-lo-fi-indie music written by a person in his room by touching strings, using vocal cords, arranging samples, clapping hands, hitting bottles and so on...

This is simple dreamy guitar pop rock. This is a professional recording and will find its fans for sure. For me, however, it is not catchy enough to keep my attention focused. The songs flow slowly and my eyelids get heavier and heavier... Good night.

By the way, this is just a half of the album you can get in other websites.

The Motyw (Wojciech Wszelaki) - "Music For The People" [SP]

Simple synthpop (5/10)

Two tracks from that album, the compositions that will be on my new album, which will publish soon! The album will be titled "Music for the people." Just music for the people - listen, evaluate, Collect! Yours - the motyw

Simple synthpop tunes. Professionally crafted and with nice melodies, vocals are in tune. Just too plain and easy for my liking. Simply too synthetic, I guess. But it's just me, check it out if you're a fan of the genre, it may be a 10-point album for you.

Axis Mundi - "demo(n)SEX"

Not bad but requires more work (and re-recording) (3/10)

This is a regular rock album. The band knows what their instruments are for. The melodies could be more interesting, but this is a personal thing. The best track is no. 5, "Psyhe", an instrumental tune with great twisted bass-driven rhythms. All the lyrics are in Polish, and they are not bad, at least these fragments that I managed to hear and understand.

And this is the main problem with this album - it sounds like it was recorded on a cassette recorder from the 80s and then ripped and encoded to 32 kbit mp3 files. The quality of the sound is far below the border of listenability (as long as we are talking about listening for fun). If it was decently recorded, I'd probably give it 5 or 6, but in it's current state it's not worth a (repeated) listen.

The album has been released on Jamendo and is available for downloading in mp3 or ogg format.
