Religionnaire - "Religionnaire V: Des Calques Aux Manies"

Mediocre '70s rock (5/10) La genèse ainsi que la maturation foetale de Religionnaire s'effectue sur un fond sonore 70's oscillant particulièrement entre le The Kick Inside de Kate Bush et Atom Heart Mother de Pink Floyd. La redécouverte de ces deux albums 20 ans plus tard va non seulement se transformer en révélation, mais également influencer la base de son inspiration. The album lacks interesting melodies, the voice of the singer is not interesting, ballads are quite boring, there is too much borrowing from the stars of the '70s. The best tracks are: 1 Des Calques... 2 Oui J'Aime le Rock, Progressif (obvious copying of Led Zeppelin style of writing) 5 Bandicapé 9 Religionnaire (one more proof that the artist is far better in aggressive hard rock than in pop rock ballads - see track 6 Olga - completely terrible, although the name is beautiful) 13 ...Aux Manies Oh, I almost forgot about the biggest disaster - a track no. 10 Come Again, which is a rock version of the famous Adagio by Albinoni.
